Raping Tamar

One day Yoav saw the king’s son Ammon, looking very down, he asked him why. I

love my sister so much. I’m in love. Yoav instructed him to sat to his father –David

that you are sick. Tamar makes these good dumplings .Can you ask her to come to

my chambers to bring it to me. That’s what Amonon did. Tamar baked it in front of

him. He asked her if she can put the dumplings in her hand so that he can eat from

it. After that  he said to her come and lie with me. Tamar said this is not done. No

you cannot do this to me. When Tamar and Amonon were together in the room,it

was only them two and no-one else,not even servants. Amonon got angry at Tamar

.He used to love her so much and now he hates her. He commanded her his

servants to come in  and take  this thing out of the room. Tamar went out of the room

and told her brother -  Avshalom on how Amonon raped her and made her make the

dumplings in front of him and to eat from her hand. Tamar did  not wait to speak to

her brother Amonon anymore  because of the incident of what happened  to her. She

was traumatizes about that event. She could hardly  believe that her own brother

would so such a thing,and how he could love her to that extent. The incident

between  Amonon and Tamar made Avshalom exteedingly engraed. Now Avshalom

and his half brother Amonon they  were pretty mad at each other. Avshalom felt that

his half brother Amonon should be ordered too be killed because of what had

happened

.Avshalom  had flocks of sheep grazing.in Bal Chazur ,which was  at the

time of sheep-shearing. He made a feast, he invited all of his brothers and among

them was Amonon.His heart was merry on wine ,the servtans of Avshalom slew him

on a sign from their master. The guests  got a generalpanic. No-one knew the

bloodly deed of Avshalom. Avshalom fled to his mother;s familyin Geshur ,ehere he

lived for 3 years. Avshalom was finally allowed to return Yeursulem .For 2 years he

could not see his father. Avshalom now hated his father and decided schemes for

dethroning him and wanting his kingship. David  finally allowed his son to appear

before him. Avshalom made himself  heir to the throne. Now that Amonon is dead,he

was next in line for the kingship. However David had a phrospecythat his young son

Sholomo would have the kingship.
